James Fairbanks organised a minisymposium at the SIAM Conference on Mathematics of Data Science (MDS24), held in Atlanta in October 2024.

MDS is a data science audience rather than a category theory one, which is the point of taking this work there: the compositional methods the lab builds are meant to be infrastructure for people doing science, not an argument conducted among category theorists.
